Brian D. Spadt

Northampton Area High School graduate

Brian D. Spadt, 50, of Palmerton, died March 31, 2026, at home. He was the husband of Kristen Spadt.

Born in Palmerton, he was the son of Colleen (Beil) and the late Dean Spadt.

He was a 1993 graduate of Northampton Area High School, where he played soccer, basketball and baseball.

He was most recently employed as an emergency room technician with Lehigh Valley Health Network for 15 years. He also worked at Lowe’s as an assistant store manager and at Walgreens in warehouse distribution.

He was a member of the Northampton American Legion baseball team and the Center Valley Braves of the Tri-County Baseball League. In addition, he coached field hockey at Parkland and Palmerton school districts, as well as junior varsity baseball at Parkland.

He was a member of Grace Church Bethlehem.

He actively participated in diabetic education at Lehigh Valley Health Network, supporting patients and their families. He was awarded the Friends of Nursing Award from LVHN for his role in the program.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a daughter, Makenzie; three stepchildren, Dylan, Ellie and Miles; three grandchildren, Everette, Maverick and Charlotte; a brother, Eric and wife Stacy; a nephew, Chase; and several aunts, uncles and extended family members.

There will be a calling time 8:30-9:45 a.m., followed by a funeral service 10 a.m., April 11 at the church, 4301 Hecktown Road, Bethlehem.
