Alfred “Al” Frankl, 86, of Lower Macungie Township, died March 31, 2026.
He was the son of the late Charles Frankl and Anna Frankl-Keglovits.
Al proudly served his country as an Army airborne paratrooper.
Following his service, he built an impassioned career as a skilled gem cutter, creating stunning custom jewelry designs that reflected both his precision and creativity.
Outside of his work, he found joy in photography, bird-watching, music and spending quality time with his family.
He is survived by his life partner, Josie Beke; stepson, Cody and daughter-in-law, Cathy; grandsons, Jaxon, Archer; brothers, Joe and his wife, Ann, William and his wife, Kay; brothers’ families, Joe and Ann’s son, Jonathan; daughter-in-law, Diana; grandson, Eric; children and grandchildren of William and Kay.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. The family will honor his memory with a private celebration of his life.
