Freedom HS presents ‘Something Rotten’

The Freedom HS Theatre Company presents the musical “Something Rotten” on Friday, April 10 at 7 p.m., Saturday, April 11 at 1 and 7 p.m., and Sunday, April 12 at 1 p.m.

“Something Rotten” is a musical comedy based on a book by John O’Farrell and Karey Kirkpatrick with music and lyrics by Karey and Wayne Kirkpatrick.

The story is set in the 1590s and follows Nick and Nigel Bottom as they vie for success in the theatrical world while competing with their contemporary, William Shakespeare.

The production team for “Something Rotten” consists of Director Justin Amann, Assistant Director Jessica Sturm, choreographer Vanessa Ruggiero, musical and pit director Denise Parker, costumer and set painter Priscilla Salazar, sound designer Adam Stoltz, stage manager Amy Illescas, student assistant director Cole Faccinetto, and assistant stage managers Connor O’Brien and Lileighana Siegfried.
