It might be a tough year for Liberty’s boys’ lacrosse team.
The Hurricanes are off to a 1-5 start, but head coach Joe Magargal is hoping for the best with this year’s roster.
“We want to make the playoffs have over a .500 record,” he said. “We want to keep building on last years success.”
The Hurricanes return a core group, which includes Deklon Greer (Jr., attack); Elijah Heimbach (Jr., attack); Logan Vella (Jr., midfield); Zach Bauer (So., midfield); Andrew Riggs (Sr., defense) and Liam Henry (Jr., defense).
Other players that will make an impact include Drew Daignault (So., goalie); Kellen Corr (Fr., lsm) and Noah Shelley (Fr., Fo).
Liberty has lost three straight games since beating Tunkhannock 11-2 for their only win of the season, but look to get back on track this week with contests against Nazareth and Freedom.
