Lafayette College presents annual “Fringe Festival”

Arts at Lafayette is hosting its annual “Fringe Festival April 9 to April 30 at various locations on the Lafayette College campus in Easton.

The “Fringe Festival,” which started in 1993 and incorporates a variety of arts from dance to music to theater, is free and open to the public.

“Short-Form Improv Show,” with audience interaction, is presented by Good Human Improv Company, an Easton troupe, 7 p.m. April 9, Studio Theater, Building 248, 248 N. Third St., Easton.

“DJ Session” with Perera Elsewhere, is 8 to 10 p.m. April 10, Weiss Theater, Buck Hall, 219 N. Third St., Easton.

“The Things I Tell Myself or, Things I Shouldn’t Say Out Loud,” by Lafayette University senior McKenna Graf, is on view April 9 to April 30, Media 2, Building 248. There’s a reception with Graf at 1 p.m. April 12. The exhibition features a “sonnet crown” (sequence of sonnets).

There are three dance programs, 2 p.m. April 12, Weis Theater:

“Prakratihi Shamayati - Nature Heals,” by Sahana Balasubramanya, Lafayette College assistant professor of mathematics;

“Ganga Taranga,” by Nandini Sikand, Lafayette College professor of film and media studies, and

“Out of Time,” by Lafayette College senior Laura Coffey.

There are three one-act plays, 2 p.m. April 26, Studio Theater, Building 248:

“Table for One” by Lafayette College sophomore Jack Finegold;

“Letter,” by Lafayette College sophomores Jiayu (Angel) Yan and Delaney Piccoli, and

“The Dagger,” by Lafayette senior Joanna Howson.
