Richard S. Kantz, 73, of Breinigsville, died March 21, 2026, at his home. He was the husband of Vicky L. Smith. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Frank and Josephine (Stangel) Kantz.

He worked as a program specialist for the former Kraft Foods for 40 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Courtney Chappelear and her husband, Austin, of Lyon Station; sister, Susan Newhart and her husband, Gerald, of Northampton.
