Martin P. Gusick, 84 years, formerly of Slatington, died March 22, 2026, at the EverTrue Lutheran Home at Topton surrounded by loved ones. He was the husband of the late Phyllis (Howell) Gusick. Born in Slatington, he was a son of the late Martin and Mildred (Andrews) Gusick.
He was a graduate of the Slatington High School Class of 1959. After high school, he honorably served as a flight engineer with the U.S. Navy. He worked as a lineman with PPL for over 35 years. He was a member of The American Legion Post 16 for 45 years.
He was an avid outdoorsman, belonging to the local rod and gun clubs for most of his life.
He is survived by sons, Richard (Kristin), of West Chester, Thomas (Holly), of Fogelsville; grandchildren, Anika, Martin, Henry, Emma.
He was preceded in death by siblings, David, Patricia Tretter.
A memorial service will take place 11 a.m. April 11, at Keller Funeral Home, 1018 Church St., Fogelsville. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m.
