Lucille G. Reichard

of Whitehall

Lucille G. Reichard, 89, of Whitehall, died March 24, 2026, at Lehigh Commons, Lower Macungie Township. She was the wife of the late William B. Rei- chard Jr. for more than 30 years and the late Richard D. Semmel for less than one year.

Born in New Tripoli, she was the daughter of the late Henry C. and Ida S. (Schmick) Good.

She graduated from Slatington High School.

She began her 35-year career at Western Electric-Bell Labs before retiring as an executive secretary.

She was a member of Living Stone Fellowship in New Tripoli. Previously, she had been a member of Ebenezer Church, where she played the piano for more than 50 years and sang with the choir.

She was a past matron of the former Slatington Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 458, now Rose Croix Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 235, Northampton.

She always generously supported charities, especially helping rescued and feral animals.

She is survived by four stepchildren, Kerrie L. Semmel, David M. Reichard with Cindi, Allison J. Haas with David and Andrew S. Rei- chard; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by four siblings, Henry Good, Mabel Sell, Lillian Smith and Mabel Smith.
