Whitehall High School’s Interact Club will be holding a community 2-mile run and walk April 11 on the Whitehall-Coplay School District campus, 3800 Mechanicsville Road, Whitehall.

The race starts 9 a.m. on the track.

All proceeds from the event will benefit Heifer International, which supports families worldwide in ending hunger and poverty through providing livestock and agricultural equipment.

“This helps communities around the world build themselves from the ground up and become self-sufficient, creating a lasting, generational impact,” said Habib Leyos, WHS senior and co-president of international awareness for the school’s club.

All ages are welcome.
