Oudin earns president’s list
Chloe Oudin, of Whitehall, was named to University of Bridgeport’s fall 2025 president’s list. Oudin was among more than 330 students named to this honor. To be named to the president’s list, a student must maintain a term GPA of 3.7 or higher.

Wilkes University Chief Operating Officer and Provost David M. Ward announced the dean’s list for the fall 2025 semester. To be named to this honor, students must obtain a minimum 3.5 GPA and carry at least 12 credits.

Gmitter, Sheldon named to president’s list
A total of 15,388 students enrolled during the fall 2025 semester at University of Alabama were named to the dean’s list with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the president’s list with an academic record of 4.0 (all As). These driven students are making waves across the university’s more than 70 undergraduate programs and 12 colleges and schools.

Guerney named to provost’s list
Cole Guerney, of Whitehall, has been named to Ursinus College’s fall 2025 provost’s list in recognition of academic excellence. Guerney is among 692 students who have achieved this honor. Maza earns dean’s list
Wilson College is pleased to announce that Karlenis Solano Maza, of Northampton, has been named to the part-time dean’s list for the fall 2025 semester. The part-time dean’s list contains the names of those students whose GPA for the semester has been 3.5 or higher and who have completed at least six semester hours of credit, all of which received a letter grade.
Founded in 1869, Wilson College is a private coeducational liberal arts college offering undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs. Bachelor’s degree programs include 34 majors and 40 minors in high-demand and innovative fields including education, nursing, equine studies, veterinary nursing and sport management. Graduate degrees include masters level programs in education, fine arts, the humanities, nursing and organizational leadership and a hybrid, accelerated doctoral program in occupational therapy.
With classes available in person and online, the college achieved the highest total enrollment in its history for fall 2025, as it makes higher education accessible and affordable for today’s students.

Bortz graduates
Logan Bortz, of Whitehall, earned a Master of Education in educational psychology and a threat assessment and management in schools certificate from PennWest University Dec. 13, 2025, at the conclusion of the fall 2025 semester. Bortz, who studied at PennWest’s Global Online campus, was among nearly 900 students who received undergraduate, masters and doctoral degrees.

Ouma named to provost’s list
Ohio University college of health sciences and professions student Carol Ouma, of Coplay, has been named to the university’s fall 2025 provost’s list. Approximately 2,200 of Ohio University’s part-time undergraduate students qualified for this honor. At the end of each semester, Ohio University’s undergraduate students are evaluated based on their semester GPA and hours to determine placement on the president’s, dean’s or provost’s lists. The provost’s list recognition is shared with high-achieving, part-time undergraduate students who exemplify academic success. Qualifying students must possess a 3.5 or greater GPA and between 6 and 11.99 credit hours attempted for letter grades that are used to calculate GPA.

Nuss, Reichelderfer earn dean’s list
SUNY Delhi is proud to recognize Kayla Nuss, of Coplay, and Octavia Reichelderfer, of Danielsville, for achieving the dean’s List for the fall 2025 semester. Nuss is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in architectural design and building, and Reichelderfer is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. The dean’s list is a recognition of academic achievement for students who are enrolled in six or more credits and earn at least a 3.5 GPA for the semester.

Fairleigh Dickinson University
Hemingway named to honors list
Jordyn Hemingway, of Walnutport, a student at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s metropolitan campus in Teaneck, N.J., has been named to the honors list for the fall 2025 semester. To qualify for this honor, a student must carry a 3.5 or better GPA, out of a possible 4.0, and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 letter-graded hours (four courses).
The university’s metropolitan campus, located in the dynamic NY/NJ corridor in Teaneck, N.J., features a university atmosphere with an international perspective, attracting students from the United States and around the world. Undergraduates have access to the resources of a major graduate center and nearby New York City as an integral part of their learning experience.

Kutztown University
Cuevas inducted into honor society
Shantae Cuevas, of Northampton, was recently elected to membership into the honor society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society, at Kutztown University. Cuevas is among approximately 20,000 students, faculty, professional staff and alumni to be initiated into Phi Kappa Phi each year. Membership is by invitation only and requires nomination and approval by a chapter. Only the top 10% of seniors and 7.5% of juniors are eligible for membership. Graduate students in the top 10% of the number of candidates for graduate degrees may also qualify, as do faculty, professional staff and alumni who have achieved scholarly distinction.
Phi Kappa Phi was founded in 1897 under the leadership of undergraduate student Marcus L. Urann, who had a desire to create a different kind of honor society — one that recognized excellence in all academic disciplines. Today, the society has chapters on more than 300 campuses in the United States and its territories. Its mission is to “cultivate a community that celebrates and advances the love of learning.”
Tufts University
Car named to dean’s list
Hannah Car, of Coplay, was named to the dean’s list at Tufts University for the fall 2025 semester. Car is a member of the Class of 2027. Dean’s list honors at Tufts University require a semester GPA of 3.4 or greater.
