During the annual What’s So Cool About Manufacturing contest, the Catasauqua Middle School team received the Outstanding Brand Placement award for their video featuring Bosch Rexroth Corporation.

A Weller Center program titled Relationships 101: Communication will be presented to the fifth-grade classes April 8.

Eighth-grade students will see a Weller Center vaping presentation April 9.

Seventh-grade classes will see Relationships 201: Consent April 14.

A sixth-grade relationships presentation is set for April 15.

Catasauqua High School counselors will visit the eighth-grade students April 8.

There is a CSO field trip to Dave and Busters, scheduled for April 8.

Students will take part in a STEM competition at Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit 21 April 10.

The eighth-grade related arts cycle 4 ends April 10. Cycle 5 begins April 13.

The next CASD Board of Education meeting is set for 7 p.m. April 14 in the district administration board room, 201 N. 14th St.

Representatives from Lehigh Carbon Technical Institute will be visiting with fifth-grade students April 16.

Course selection for the eighth-grade students moving up to high school will be April 16.

Springtime is PSSA season. All grades will take the ELA PSSAs April 21-23 and the math PSSAs April 27 and 28.

Fifth- and eighth-grade students take the science PSSAs April 29 and 30.
