Shots fired
At approximately 3 a.m. March 12 officers responded to Public Road at Rader Avenue for shots fired, according to Salisbury police. Officers arrived to find multiple spent bullet casings on the ground. Officers also attempted to stop a vehicle speeding from the scene. Anyone with any information or home security video of the incident is asked to call Salisbury Township Police at 610-437-5252. Anonymous information can also be left by voicemail on the department’s tip line at 610-402-2400.
Simple possession
A 35-year-old male, of Kutztown, was charged March 17 with simple possession at Lehigh Valley Hospital, South Cedar Crest Boulevard, after allegedly having a substance which field tested positive for methamphetamine, according to Salisbury police.
Protection from abuse order violation
A 38-year-old female was arrested March 15 for allegedly violating a protection from abuse order in the 400 block of East Federal Street, according to Salisbury police.
Wanted persons arrested
A 41-year-old female, with no known address, was taken into custody in the woods in the 1600 block of Riverside Drive March 17, according to Salisbury police. The female had an active arrest warrant from Northampton County, according to authorities.
A 33-year-old male, of East Greenville, was taken into custody in the 2800 block of Old South Pike Avenue March 17, according to Salisbury police. The male had an active arrest warrant from Emmaus, according to authorities.
Vehicle thefts
On March 13 a 46-year-old male in the 1700 block of Victoria Circle reported his 2013 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck stolen. While officers were on the way, the vehicle was reported to have crashed in a yard, according to authorities.
On March 16 a 17-year-old male of the 200 block of East Emmaus Avenue reported his 2012 Dodge Charger stolen from outside his home, according to Salisbury police.
Fraud
A resident of the 1200 block of Garden Avenue discovered his bank account was hacked and “a significant amount of money”taken, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported March 16.
Theft
A resident of the 1400 block of Stanley Avenue discovered an Amazon delivery to her home was stolen, according to Salisbury police. The value of the stolen items was $129. The incident was reported March 9.
Disturbances
Officers were called to the area of South 24th Street and Martin Luther King Boulevard for a report of two armed males March 9, according to Salisbury police. The area was checked but the males were gone, according to authorities.
Officers were called to a residence in the 1400 block of Salisbury Road for a disturbance March 9, according to Salisbury police. No arrests were made.
Officers were called to a residence in the 1100 block of East Emmaus Avenue for a disturbance March 9, according to Salisbury police. No arrests were made.
Officers were called to a residence in the 1100 block of Maumee Avenue for a disturbance March 13, according to Salisbury police. No arrests were made.
Officers were called to Lehigh Valley Hospital, South Cedar Crest Boulevard, for a disturbance between a patient and staff March 13, according to Salisbury police. No arrests were made.
Officers were called to restaurant Perkins, 3400 Lehigh St., for a disturbance between two customers March 14, according to Salisbury police. No arrests were made.
Officers were called to the 1100 block of South Cedar Crest Boulevard during a protest March 16, according to Salisbury police. No arrests were made.
Officers were called to a disturbance in the 800 block of East Montgomery Street March 16, according to Salisbury police. No arrests were made.
Agency assist
Salisbury officers assisted Allentown Police in clearing a building in the area of Oxford Drive and Moravia Street March 16, according to Salisbury police. Officers assisted as needed.
Storm damage
Salisbury Township Police Department officers responded to multiple hazardous condition calls caused by storm conditions including high winds and heavy rain March 16 to March 17. Multiple vehicles and residences were struck by trees and there were reports of flying debris and power outages.
School bus violations
Between March 7 and March 17 a total of two school bus video violations were approved bringing this school year’s total to 196 approved violations, according to Salisbury police.
