Liberty’s track and field team got by both the Northampton boys and girls teams last week. The LHS girls won 97-49 and the boys won 95-55.

For the NHS girls, winners were Saige Korpics, Amber Hawkins and Alexa Wiland. Korpics won the 800 with a time of 2:42.10. Hawkins took first in the 100 hurdles in 19.10 while Wiland was tops in the discus with a spin of 80-10.

On the boys side, Ezekiel Spencer, Jeremiah Strowder, Dominic Barkanic, Marc Jusinski, Samuel Hayes, Jadiel Rodriguez and Riley Montgomery were all winners.

Spencer took the 200 in 23.10 and Strowder won the 400 in 51.60. Barkanic captured the 110 hurdles in 17.00. Jusinski was first in the 300 hurdles 44.60.

Hays won the pole vault clearing 11-9

Rodriguez won the long jump with a distance of 20-3 and Montgomery took the discus with a throw of 98-7.
