Moore Township: Christ UCC planning bazaar
Christ United Church of Christ, Little Moore, 913 S. Mink Road, Danielsville, is holding its spring bazaar and vendor day 9 a.m.-2 p.m. March 28.
There will be crafts, baked goods, candy and a white elephant. Vendor items include quilted table runners, jar openers, sunglass cases, spring garland, gnomes and more.
The kitchen will be open.

Christ UCC, Little Moore, will be holding its egg hunt March 29, starting 10:30 a.m. The hunt is for ages toddlers to 12 years old.

Moore Township Lioness-Lions Club will hold its semiannual penny party March 29 at Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Company, 2718 Mountain View Drive. Doors will open 11:30 a.m., and playing begins 1 p.m.
Enjoy fun and fellowship, good food and homemade baked goods, an Easter basket raffle, door prizes and tricky tray. Bring pennies or purchase them at the event.

Moore Township Happenings and Discussions on Facebook features Moore Township Lioness-Lions Club’s March Madness membership challenge. The club is seeking a new member every day in March, using the NCAA College Basketball March Madness tournament theme. It is not too late to join the membership contest by signing up.

The township land and environmental protection board’s next meeting will be 7 p.m. April 13 at the municipal building, 2491 Community Drive. The board has successfully preserved countless acres of farmland and open space within the township.

Moore Township Recreation Committee will meet 7 p.m. April 16 at the municipal building.

Bingo is held 7 p.m. Tuesdays in the social hall at Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Department. Doors open 5 p.m.
There will be prizes, progressive jackpot, rob the piggy bank, wash line bingo and a lot of fun.

The Community Days committee has been absorbed into the township’s recreation committee, and additional members are needed. The recreation committee is planning this year’s Moore Township Community Days.
