Joyce A. (Pelley) Wlodek, 81, of Slatington, died March 18, 2026, at St. Luke’s Hospice, in Bethlehem. She was the wife of Peter Wlodek to whom she was married 59 years. Born in Highland Park, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Bertha (Haszara) Pelley.

A graduate of the former Ann May School of Nursing in Neptune, N.J., she was devoted to the nursing profession as an RN for over 40 years, serving in various health care positions and lastly employed at Lehigh Valley Health Network. She was a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, (Egypt) Whitehall.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters, Catherine A., of Northampton, Jennifer L. Evans (William), of Coplay; grandchildren, Catelynn Erickson, Sarah Evans, Michael Evans.

She was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth Pelley.
