Joyce A. Wlodek, 81, of Slatington, died March 18, 2026, at St. Luke’s Hospice, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Peter Wlodek for 59 years.

Born in Highland Park, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Bertha (Haszara) Pelley.

She was a graduate of the former Ann May School of Nursing in Neptune, N.J.

She was a registered nurse for more than 40 years, serving in various health care positions and lastly employed at Lehigh Valley Health Network.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Whitehall.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Catherine A. of Northampton and Jennifer L. Evans with William of Coplay; and three grandchildren, Catelynn Erickson, Sarah Evans and Michael Evans.

She was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth Pelley.
