A Palm Sunday service will take place 9 a.m. March 29 at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 4331 Main St., Egypt.

The Maundy Thursday worship service is scheduled for 7 p.m. April 2, and the Good Friday service will be held 7 p.m. April 3.

There will be two services Easter Sunday, set for 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. April 5.

Egypt Community Church, 4129 S. Church St., will be holding a Palm Sunday service 10:30 a.m. March 29, a Good Friday service 6:30 p.m. April 3 and an Easter service 10:30 a.m. April 5.

An Easter egg hunt has been scheduled for April 4 at Egypt Memorial Park, 4540 Hillcrest Lane. Registration begins noon, and the egg hunt begins 1 p.m.

Participants must be members of the park. You can register for park membership on the day of the event.

Donations of candy are welcome and can be dropped off at the park 10 a.m.-noon March 28 and 5-7 p.m. March 30.

Registration for Egypt park’s spring 2026 T-ball and softball programs is open through March 31. The coed T-ball program is for ages 4.5-6.

To register your child, visit egyptpark.org and click the “Online Sports Registration” tab. There is a cost.

All ages and skill levels are invited to join the line dancing fun at the VFW April 16 and 30. Beginner lessons are offered 6:30-7 p.m. Dancing continues until 9:30 p.m.

There is a cover charge.

The youth group of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church will hold a penny party fundraiser April 19. Doors open 11:30 a.m., and the games begin 12:30.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Shepherd of the Hills, in cooperation with Whitehall-Coplay Hunger Initiative, will offer a free meal for Whitehall-Coplay School District residents 4-6 p.m. April 21 at the church.

A car show is scheduled for 11 a.m.-5 p.m. May 30 at the Egypt park. Cars can be registered the day of the show.

There is a registration cost.
