March 27 is the end of the third marking period for Northampton Area Middle School and Northampton Area High School students.

The Northampton Borough Elementary PTA group will be hosting a basket social, planned for 9 a.m.-1 p.m. March 28 at Siegfried Elementary School. There will be fun, food, a 50/50 raffle and prizes.

Tickets can be purchased at the door or you can skip the lines and purchase tickets early. Visit app.givebacks.give. When ordering online, indicate teacher and student. The tickets will be at the entrance.

Lehigh Elementary School students will have their spring picture day March 31.

Northampton Area School District schools will be closed for spring break April 2-6.

Weather permitting, the fifth-grade students will have their panoramic picture taken April 7 during the school day.
