The borough community egg hunt is set for 1 p.m. March 29 at Saylor Field. The rain date is April 4.

Age groups are 0-3, 4-6 and 7-10.

Prizes and gift bags will be provided.

The We Squeeze to Please food truck will be in the social hall parking lot at 165 Cherry St.

Coplay Recreation and Welfare Association’s annual egg hunt is scheduled for 1 p.m. April 4 at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 4 S. Fifth St. It is a rain-or-shine event.

The Easter Bunny will be there for free photos. Join the fun at the oldest egg hunt in Coplay. Everyone present gets a gift.

Grass only can be dropped off at 1 Bridge St. Beginning April 3, brush and branch pickup begins.

Call the borough office at 610-262-6088 to schedule pickups of sofas, plastic-encased mattresses, chairs, dressers, etc. There is a limit of two per year at no charge.

The borough is hiring a pool manager, lifeguards and gate guards. Applications are available 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at the municipal office, 98 S. Fourth St.

Coplay aerobics classes meet 9:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:45 a.m. Saturdays and 7 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays in the borough hall auditorium. There is a cost by donation.

Bring light dumbbells, a towel and a mat to enhance your workout.

Coplay Food Bank, located in the lower level of the municipal building, is open 8:30-10 a.m. the second Tuesday of every month. If unable to attend the scheduled Tuesday morning time frame, call Jodi at 610-262-0928 to make other arrangements.

The food bank needs coffee, spaghetti sauce and noodles, canned pasta, rice pouches and non-sweetened dry cereals. Monetary donations are always accepted.
