Charles E. Snyder, 93, of Allentown, died March 19, 2026, at his residence. He was the husband of the late Nancy A. (Loy) Snyder. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Edgar W. and Dorothy M. (Stoneback) Snyder.
He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War with a rank of Sergeant. He was employed as a systems technician at AT&T and the former Bell Telephone in Allentown for 35 years before retiring in 1990. He also formerly worked part-time for Cetronia Ambulance Corps. Additionally, he volunteered his time at the Cetronia Ambulance Corps from 1981 to 2000, and the Cetronia Fire Company Fire Team from 1978 to 1983.
He is survived by children, Kenneth C. and his wife, Sharon, of Florida, Kathleen A. Ziegler and her husband, David, of Coplay, Robert T. and his former wife, Karen, of Fogelsville; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a sister, Dolores J. Haas.
