Catasauqua police seek information on 2025 homicide

Lehigh County District Attorney Gavin P. Holihan and Catasauqua Police Department Chief John Wiseman are seeking the public’s help to find a man charged in a 2025 homicide in the borough, according to a March 20 news release.

Samuel Rolando Colon, 24, of Allentown, is charged with criminal homicide, aggravated assault and several counts of recklessly endangering another person.

Colon is charged with the Nov. 8, 2025, killing of Ti’Shaun Singleton at a home at 250 Edward Lane in Catasauqua.

At 4:37 p.m. on that date, Catasauqua police and EMS were called to the Edward Lane home for a report of a shooting.

Singleton, 19, of Allentown, was found dead with a single gunshot wound. His death was ruled a homicide by the Lehigh County coroner.

The investigation included the review of nearby video surveillance that showed two people inside the Edward Street home dragging the victim outside and several people running from the home. One person later carried the victim back inside.

Witnesses, whose names will not be released, said the victim and Colon were playing a game they named “quick draw” and both were armed with guns. As the men were playing that game, Colon shot and killed the victim.

A child, as well as several other people, were inside the home and nearby when the killing occurred, according to the report.

Anyone with information on Colon is asked to call 911 or Catasauqua police at 610-264-0577.

This case is being investigated by Catasauqua police Detective Christopher Wittik and Lehigh County Homicide Task Force Detective Amaury Almonte and will be prosecuted by Chief Deputy District Attorney Michael T. Edwards.
