Mary Catherine (Mary Kay) Durland, 78, of Bethlehem, died from cancer March 15, 2026. Born in Chicago to Margaret Elizabeth (née Jamieson) and John Joseph Fee, she was the wife of Lawrence Vining Durland Jr. since 1978.

She treasured her Irish heritage, all four of her grandparents being born in Ireland.

She graduated from Mundelein College, and began a career as a teacher.

She was a volunteer with Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly in Upper Peninsula, Michigan, where she resided with her first husband.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by; their two sons Lawrence III and John, and four grandchildren; her brother, Terence, another. She is predeceased by a brother, John, and her first husband, Frederick Littlefield.
