An event with stories, songs, crafts and activities for ages 3-7 is planned for 11 a.m. March 21.

Revolutionary Women: Writing About War is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. March 24. This Zoom presentation is offered by the Museum of the American Revolution.
The Revolutionary War offered new opportunities for women from all backgrounds. What do their individual experiences, documented in travel diaries, memoirs, court records and commonplace objects tell us about their experiences, the war and its legacy?

Whitehall Environmental Advisory Council will present a beginner bird-watching program, set for 4 p.m. March 26.
Kids in grades 3-6 can learn about backyard birds, how to use binoculars and how to check out the library’s birding backpacks.

Medicare enrollment help is available for sessions spanning 1-3 p.m. March 30. Register for a one-on-one appointment with a certified Medicare enrollment counselor who can help with enrollment involving Medicare, Medigap (Medicare supplement plans), Medicare Advantage plans, prescription drug plans and more.

The adult winter reading challenge runs through March 31. During this time, adults can register and pick up a winter reading bookmark. Complete the bookmark and receive a small prize.

The Medicare 101 program will be held 6 p.m. April 2. Liz Sweedo, of Lehigh County Aging PA MEDI, will present the basics of Medicare including enrollment, cost and coverage.

New to the library are teen book boxes. Not sure what to read next? Sign up for this quarterly library subscription. Each box will contain one library book that’s checked out to you, plus some fun extras, like snacks and crafts.
Boxes are available in March, June, September and December. Sign up on the library’s website by the end of any given month to get that month’s box.

Spring storytimes run in March and April. Preschool storytime for ages 37 months-5 years is set for 11 a.m. Tuesdays and 1:30 p.m. Wednesdays, and toddler storytime for ages 12-36 months is planned for 11 a.m. Thursdays.

The library has many clubs that meet monthly.
The book club for adults meets 1 p.m. the first Thursday of every month. Come discuss what you’re currently reading.
The adult coloring club meets 11 a.m. the first and third Thursday.
Death Café, a group-directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes, meets 6:30 p.m. the third Monday.
A Good Yarn knitting, crochet and needlework group meets 6 p.m. the third Tuesday.
Teens interested in volunteering can join the Teen Advisory Board, which meets 1:30 p.m. one Saturday a month. Check our calendar for dates.
