The Knights of Columbus is holding a Lenten fish bake 5-7 p.m. March 20 at St. John the Baptist Church social hall, 3024 S. Ruch St.

The makeup date for snow, if needed, is March 27.

Spring will arrive 10:46 a.m. March 20, according to The Old Farmer’s Almanac. After the blustery winter we experienced, we will finally observe the grass turning a brilliant green and the blooming of trees and flowers. Enjoy the beauty of the season!

The Ironton Rail Trail spring historical walk will be held 9 a.m. March 21. No registration is necessary for this event.

All will meet at the barn at 4041 Chestnut St. The walk should take approximately four hours at a leisurely pace and you will see roughly 23 historical sites and landmarks. Attendees should bring water, a camera and binoculars and wear comfortable shoes.
