On March 5, the Lower Macungie Township Board of Commissioners held its regularly scheduled meeting where they approved Resolution 2026-06, a land development plan for 7428 Industrial Park. This is located at the intersection of Schoeneck and Alburtis roads. The area is zoned ORLIC (office, research, light industry center.)

The proposed building will be 54,930 square feet and will be for light manufacturing.

A sewage facilities planning module for Spring Creek Estates was approved.

Newhard Farms was chosen to farm land Lower Macungie Township acquired. The amount of land to be farmed is approximately 158 acres.

Residents wrote to the township regarding a proposed data center in Upper Macungie Township. Dina Kovacs-Bernat from Meals on Wheels wrote a letter of gratitude for a monetary donation of $3,000.

There was an executive session for land acquisition.
