Joyce A. Handwerk, 87, of Allentown, died March 12, 2026, in St. Luke’s Hospice House, Lower Saucon Township. She was the wife of the late Charles J. Handwerk Jr.

Born in Longswamp Township, Berks County, she was a daughter of the late Jonathan and Minerva Mae (Boyer) Reinert.

She worked in assembly at Rodale Manufacturing for 20 years until retiring.

Her greatest joy was caring for her family and babysitting her grandchildren.

She is survived by a son, Keith L. Braim and his wife, Pamela, of Salisbury Township; daughter, Rosaline F. Reinert, of Allentown; sister, Grace Bales; brother, James Reinert; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

There will be no services at her request. Arrangements are entrusted to the K.V. Knopp Funeral Home, Allentown.
