Jason H. Wengert, 45, of Hamburg, formerly of Lenhartsville, died March 14, 2026, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Orwigsburg.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of Jeffrey H. Wengert, of Fleetwood and Diane J. (Reinhart) Ritzman, of Kempton. He was a 1999 graduate of Kutztown Area High School and worked as a diesel mechanic for Estes Trucking in Kutztown.

He had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle. Above all, he cherished his role as a father and found his greatest joy in spending time with his daughter.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Kaia A. Truit, of Krumsville; brothers, Steven M., of Kempton, Chad A. and his wife, Morgan, of Australia; half-sister, Brooke, of Oley; stepmother, Dawn; stepfather, Darid Ritzman; nieces, Lilly, Blake, Sloan, Kayla Peters; nephew, Logan.
