Easter egg fundraiser March 27
Allentown Central Catholic High School students have been busy representing the school in academics, athletics and upcoming events.
On March 13, ACCHS students participating in Model UN traveled to Lehigh University, where they spent the day discussing and debating global issues.
Congrats to Emma DeGale for earning first place and qualifying for states at the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science competition. Well done Ashlyn Griech, Anthony Villacis, Abigail Garrett and Alyssa Janick for earning second place honors.
Tate Shoemaker was recognized as the school’s 2026 Scholar Athlete by the National Football Foundation and its Lehigh Valley Chapter of the National Football Foundation.
The ACCHS Future Viking semiformal dance March 13 was a huge success. Thank you to all future Vikings who participated.
The Vikings baseball team recently participated in the third annual Eastern Pennsylvania Conference Baseball Media Day hosted by Eastern Pennsylvania Sports Network. They also traveled to Charlotte, N.C. for spring training as the team prepares for the upcoming season. Go Vikes!
The ACCHS Science Olympiad earned third place in Disease Detectives and third place in Anatomy and Physiology in the EPC competition.
Looking ahead, the boys seminary retreat to Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary is scheduled March 19 and a field trip to the Philadelphia Museum of Art will be March 20.
ACCHS is hosting community events such as the ACCHS Softball Gift Card Bingo March 22 and an Easter egg fundraiser hosted by the ACCHS girls soccer team March 27.
