Doris M. Frick

Doris M. Frick, 97, of Catasauqua, died March 12, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Leonard Frick and the late George Jupko.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Burns) Pyle.

She graduated from Allentown High School and attended Lehigh Carbon Community College. She graduated from the Moravian College shared ministry program, Bethlehem.

She and her husband, George, operated a tile and marble business for 18 years. She then became a financial counselor at Consumer Credit Counseling until retiring.

She attended Bethany Wesleyan Church in Cherryville.

She was involved in the origination of the Alpha Chapter of the Lehigh Valley and served as the first convener of the Order of St. Luke, an International Healing Ministry. She was also a coordinator for the Rescued for Recovery Encounter.

She is survived by three daughters, Dolores J. Krause of Northampton, Gloria E. and husband Martin D. Guth of Center Valley and Kathleen M. and husband Michael E. Miller of Northampton; a nephew, James Pyle and wife Debra of Bechtelsville; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by two brothers, James and Paul Pyle; and a nephew, Paul Pyle Jr.

There will be a calling time 10-11 a.m., followed by a funeral service 11 a.m., March 20 at the funeral home, 1601 Hamilton St., Allentown.

Arrangements were made by J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home.
