The Whitehall-Coplay Middle School team for What’s So Cool About Manufacturing has been hard at work finalizing a two-minute-and-thirty-second video about Lehigh Valley Plastics.

This dynamic 10-student team had the privilege of traveling to Lehigh Valley Plastics Nov. 14, 2025, where they toured, filmed and interviewed the employees there. They walked away with a true understanding of what exactly is “so cool” about manufacturing.

They have done an outstanding job as a team!

The community can vote on the video through March 19 by going to whatssocool.org/contests/lehigh-valley.

On March 23, for National Down Syndrome Awareness Day, Whitehall-Coplay School District students and staff are encouraged to wear crazy mismatching colored socks to go along with a yellow or blue outfit. If you choose to, you can give a small donation as well to the main office. Any money raised will go to the Eastern PA Down Syndrome Center to support local students in need.

Whitehall High School Theatre Department is presenting “The Wedding Singer” 7 p.m. March 26-28 and 2 p.m. March 29 in the WHS auditorium.
