Parkland High School Roving Strings perform concert

The Parkland High School Roving Strings performed a concert at Jordan UCC, 1837 Church Road, South Whitehall, March 1.
Eighteen of the seventy-five total members performed music rating from the baroque era to modern rock and roll.
Combinations of instruments were featured throughout the performance.
Violins, violas and cellos all had their time to shine.
Several soloists were also featured during several pieces.
The crowd was enthusiastic in the response to each piece as it was played.
Popular pieces included Frank Sinatra’s “My Way,” Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” and ABBA’s “Mama Mia.”
