Star of Bethlehem remained in 1st with 8-6 and 3-1 wins over Emmanuel, losing the nightcap 2-1 in 13 innings. Top hitters for Star of Bethlehem were Austin Hoffert 6-14, Scott Hoffert 5-14, Walt Hoffert 5-14 and Tyler Frankenfield 5-15. Bob Bast was 6-15, Al Nesbitt 4-13 and a HR from Tom Dormeida for Emmanuel.

Dryland kept pace sandwiching 9-5 and 1-0 wins around a 5-4 loss to Blessed Trinity. Leading the way for Dryland included Butch Silfies 9-13, Nate Phares 5-12, Bernie Yurko also 5-12, and Dave Crouthamel 4-11. For Blessed Trinity, Tim Heidelmark was 5-11 (HR), Todd Jones 4-7 (HR), with HRs from Eric Harper and Andy Mickelson.

Christ UCC sandwiched 8-6 and 4-2 wins over Farmersville, losing 5-2. Hitters for Crist UCC were Steve Hunsicker 7-14, Garry Hunsicker 6-14, Eric Yocum also 6-14 and Kevin Biechy with a HR. Mark Steigerwalt was 4-12 (HR), Dennis Koehler 4-12 (HR), Jason Steigerwalt also 4-12 and Kyle Campbell 4-13 for Farmersville.

St. Paul’s swept Ebenezer by scores of 3-2, 4-3 and 7-2. Leading the way for St. Paul’s were Jason Gross 8-13, Paul Slimmon 6-12, Kevin Gross 5-13 and Roger Kern 5-12 (hitting a HR. His last one was back when he was 12-years-old). For Ebenezer, Joe Kish was 5-13, Paul Yoder 4-13, Tori Eppright also 4-13 and Kim Kohl with a HR.
