March 14
Parkland School District Community Resource Fair and Parent University will offer three parent workshops: anxiety, healthy relationships and setting up your family’s digital guardrails on Apple devices (parenting controls). Visit the PHS cafeteria to explore 100 community organizations, enjoy free activities, food and music. All who attend will be entered to win tickets to Da Vinci Science Center. Are you new to the Parkland community this year? Come to the new parent social 10-11 a.m. in the Parkland High School library. You’ll make connections with other new parents through fun activities and refreshments.
This event will be part of the fourth annual Community Resource Fair, taking place 9 a.m. to noon at Parkland High School.
Social service agencies, nonprofits, community partners and recreational organizations will showcase their services and parent workshops will be offered.

The Parkland High School Music Boosters’ Clothing/Toy Drive will run 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The drive will take place in the parking lot adjacent to the high school band room (right side of the school). Items accepted include: clothing, shoes, clothing accessories, household linens, small toys (2 feet or less), stuffed animals, bikes/scooters and strollers.

The Emmaus Lions Club will host “A Night at the Races” at Alburtis Area Community Center, 220 W. Second St., Alburtis. Doors open 5 p.m.; first race runs 6:30 p.m. The evening will include a buffet, snacks and beverages. There is a cost for tickets. March 15
Emmaus Main Street Partners and The Emmaus Historical Society host Lucky Bucks Bingo 2-5 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 501 Chestnut St., Emmaus. Tickets are available through the website lehighvalleychamber.org/events or at the Emmaus Historical Society, 218 Main St., Emmaus.
Cash bingo at Macungie Memorial Park, lower level, Route 100 and North Poplar Street, Macungie. Doors open noon. Games begin 1 p.m. The bingo event benefits Friends of the Macungie Institute. For more information, call 610-966-7830.

Parkland High School Career Fair. The event runs 7:40 a.m. to approximately 2 p.m. in the main gym.
March 29
St. John’s UCC Fogelsville, 1027 Church St., Fogelsville, will have an Easter Egg Hunt for children ages 0-12, noon with food and crafts starting 11:30 a.m.
April 4
Jordan Lutheran Church, 5103 Snowdrift Road, Orefield, will hold its Easter Egg Hunt for kids 6 months to 12 years of age 9:30-11 a.m. There will be games, prizes, arts and crafts, juice and donuts and pictures with the Easter Bunny.
April 10
In conjunction with the Lehigh Valley Home & Garden Center, The Sanctuary at Haafsville will have a spring flower sale. Support The Sanctuary by purchasing a coupon for spring flowers to redeem that coupon at Lehigh Valley Home & Garden Center, 4220 Crackersport Road, Allentown. Orders and payment are due by April 10. The Sanctuary at Haafsville will hold a cash bingo and basket raffle 1-5 p.m. at East Greenville Fire Company, 401 Washington St., East Greenville. Doors open 11:30 a.m. The cost of a ticket includes 20 regular games; advance sales only. No physical tickets will be mailed. For reservations, email your name, phone number and number of tickets wanted to events@thesanctuarypa.org. If you want to sit with others, only make one reservation for all members of your party. All proceeds to benefit the rescue dogs and cats at The Sanctuary, 901 Nestle Way, Breinigsville.
