DUI crashes

A 34-year-old male motorist, of Phoenixville, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after the pickup truck he was driving crashed into a tree along Brunner Road, Upper Milford Township, 1:17 a.m. Feb. 21, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The motorist was not hurt in the crash. The vehicle was westbound on a right curve along Brunner Road when the motorist traveled off the road in the 2400 block and struck a tree in a yard, according to authorities. The vehicle was towed from the crash.

A 69-year-old male motorist, of Macungie, was charged with allegedly driving under the influence after the SUV he was driving crashed into a tree along Willow Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 7:19 p.m. Jan. 5, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The motorist was traveling south near the convenience store/gas station Wawa, 3321 Willow Lane, when he lost control of the vehicle, crossed all lanes, went off the road and hit the tree, according to authorities. Macungie Ambulance Corps also responded. The motorist was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital.

A 40-year-old male motorist, of Macungie, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after a single-vehicle accident in which the vehicle he was driving toppled onto its roof, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Authorities described the accident as follows in a press release. The motorist was southbound on South Cedar Crest Boulevard in the area of Minesite Road, Lower Macungie Township, 9:20 p.m. Jan. 30 when the vehicle he was driving traveled onto the right shoulder and hit a snowbank and a mailbox. The vehicle then toppled, coming to rest on its roof in the right lane of the road. A witness saw the driver get out of the vehicle and walk northbound. He was soon located and arrested, according to authorities. The motorist had a minor injury. He refused treatment at the time. A Macungie Ambulance crew also responded.

DUI

A 59-year-old motorist, of Sanatoga, Montgomery County, was found to be allegedly driving under the influence after troopers were called to the area of Kings Highway South and Schultz Bridge Road, Lower Milford Township, 6:05 p.m. Jan. 19 for a pickup truck with flat tires, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Strangulation

A 33-year-old male, of Zionsville, was taken into custody for alleged attempted strangulation after a fight with another person at a location along Dillingersville Road, Upper Milford Township, 11:05 p.m. Jan. 10, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Retail theft

Someone removed items valued at $589.98 from retailer Fine Wine and Good Spirits, 750 N. Krocks, Lower Macungie Township, Feb. 6, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 50-year-old female, of Macungie, allegedly attempted to leave grocery retailer Giant, 7150 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, with a shopping cart containing multiple grocery items with a total value of $428.06 at approximately 10:15 a.m. Jan. 23, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 34-year-old female, of Slatington, was taken into custody for retail theft after she allegedly removed 21 items, with a total value of $293.69, from retailer Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 3:39 p.m. Feb. 8, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Crash

A Coopersburg motorist escaped injury when his vehicle struck a barn along Kings Highway South, Lower Milford Township, 6:38 a.m. Jan. 4, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The motorist was northbound and was on a left curve when he swerved to avoid a deer and crashed into the structure, according to authorities. The collision damaged a barn door and caused a tire to come off the vehicle.

Theft

Someone removed an electric hoist, valued at $116, from a location along Mountain Road, Lower Macungie Township, Feb. 3, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Two people removed prescription medication from a shopper’s grocery bag at retailer Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 12:04 p.m. Feb. 17, after the shopper accidentally left the bag behind, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

An iPhone smartphone, valued at $850, may have been removed while its owner was at a restaurant along Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Jan. 24.

Harris York Condo Association, Lower Macungie Township, reported funds possibly misappropriated from a bank account, between Nov. 25 and Dec. 10, 2025, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Lost property

A resident of Lenape Lane, Upper Milford Township, reported jewelery, including wedding bands, rings and necklaces as missing Jan. 12, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The resident reported the loss at the state police barracks.

Scam

A resident of Meadow Lane, Upper Milford Township, lost $4,350 in a swindle through multiple transactions using a cash app, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Jan. 12.

Burglary

A location in the 4100 block of Salem Drive, Upper Milford Township, was entered Jan. 5, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Harassment

A 42-year-old female, of Allentown, allegedly struck another person at a location along Hidden Valley Road, Lower Macungie Township, 9:12 a.m. Feb. 20, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 31-year-old female, of Allentown, allegedly slapped another person during an incident at a location along Krocks Court, Lower Macungie Township, Feb. 8, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Criminal mischief

Someone damaged a garage door at a residence along Vista Drive, Lower Macungie Township, at approximately 1:30 a.m. Jan. 4, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Disorderly conduct

A 54-year-old male, of Trexlertown, was arrested for disorderly conduct after allegedly fighting with another person at Foundations Tavern, 1160 S. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 11:36 p.m. Nov. 21, 2025, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Found items

Drugs and paraphernalia were found along Tollgate Road, Upper Milford Township, 8:06 p.m. Jan. 11, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Property was found in the area of Snowberry Court and Snowberry Drive in Farmington Hills Park, Lower Macungie Township, Feb. 15, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Anyone who can identify the item is advised to contact state police at 610-395-1438.

Warrant arrest

A 37-year-old male, of Alburtis, was taken into custody on an active arrest warrant after troopers saw him allegedly on a roof at a location in the 4200 block of Mountain Road, Lower Macungie Township 11:54 a.m. Jan. 6, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
