Eastern Salisbury Fire Department will hold a fundraiser at Five Guys at the Promenade Shops 4-7 p.m. March 12. All orders placed in this time frame will result in a percentage donated to ESFD. Take a night off from cooking and support your local fire department!

Salisbury schools will be closed March 20 for a professional development day. School will reopen March 23. Those with students at Salisbury Elementary School should note they will have early dismissals 1:15 p.m. March 18 and school will be closed March 19 for spring conferences.

Salisbury High School will hold a college information night 6:30 p.m. March 24. Look for more information to come from the guidance office.

The Salisbury Police Department will hold a K-9 unit fundraiser March 25. Vince’s Cheesesteak food truck will be at Eastern Salisbury Fire Department 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and $1 from every order benefits the K-9 unit. K-9 Echo and Officer Kyle Watson will be on site to meet and talk about the unit. K-9 unit shirts and hoodies will be available for purchase.
