It’s been an event-filled month at Allentown Central Catholic High School, filled with athletic victories and student events and activities.
On Feb. 24, students participated in Lenten Confessions, taking time to reflect during the Lenten season. Later that evening, our boys basketball team beat Salisbury in the district semifinal matchup.
On Feb. 25, our girls basketball secured an impressive win over Palmerton in their district semifinal game as well. Congratulations to both teams on their outstanding performances!
The ACCHS Concert Band and Choir concluded Catholic Schools Week with its participation in the 51st Annual Diocesan Music Festivals hosted by Bethlehem Catholic. Our jazz band also entertained guests attending Viking Fest 2026.
Our cheerleading camp Feb. 14 was a great success. Students in kindergarten through eighth grade learned the basics of cheerleading from our very own ACCHS Cheer Team and coaches.
The NHS Coffeehouse Feb. 20 highlighted the artistic talents of our students in a fun talent show-like event. Congratulations to all performers for a fantastic night and thank you to everyone who attended in support.
Our STEMsters visited Good Shepherd Catholic School Feb. 25. This program allows students to engage with our ACCHS students while participating in hands-on STEM activities and exploring their potential as future innovators.
On Feb. 27, our junior student council hosted the Viking Glory Dodgeball Tournament. The event brought students together for an afternoon of fun.
Feb. 28 was equally busy as well with the ACCHS color guard hosting its clinic in Rockne Hall. They welcomed participants for a day of performance training and skill-building. Our baseball program also held its First Pitch Party at Funks West End Taproom.
