Joyce E. Welliver, 84 of Orefield, died Feb. 26, 2026, at Phoebe Allentown Health Care Center in Allentown. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Lizzy Sturm and stepdaughter to the late Norman Schaffer. She was the wife of the late Eugene C. Welliver Sr.

She last worked as a school bus driver for the Parkland Area School District for many years before retiring. Before that, she worked as a clerk for the former F.W. Woolworth Department Store, Allentown, for 20 years until it’s closing.

She was a longtime member of the Egypt Community Church, Whitehall.

She is survived by her son, Eugene C. Jr. and his wife, Billie Jo, of Phippsburg, Maine; daughter; Tina, of Lewiston, Maine; nephew, Robert and Darlene Osmun, of Bethlehem; niece, Karen Osmun, of Schnecksville; eight grandchildren; 11 great- grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her sister, Catherine Osmun; nephew, James Osmun; grandson, Jordan.
