Freeman’s Dairy worker
George T. Romig Sr., 83, died Feb. 20, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Inpatient Hospice Unit in Allentown. He was the husband of Joan E. (Folk) Romig for 66 years. He was a son of the late Wallace E. Romig Sr. and Clara (Remaley) Romig.
He worked for Freeman’s Dairy, Lowhill Township and was passionate about the family farm. He and his wife were members of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Fogelsville.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, George Jr. (Lori), Scott (Amy), Kenny (Karen), Jen Clouser (William), all of New Tripoli; brothers, Clifford (Sarah), Morris Romig (Bonnie), all of New Tripoli; grandchildren, Tanya Hughes (Jonathan), Brennen Clouser, Tanner, Megan and Patrick; nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brothers, James Sr. and Wallace Jr.
