Charles C. Heil, 96, of Whitehall, formerly of Salisbury Township, died Feb. 26, 2026 at Phoebe Nursing Home, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Mrytie (Rodgers) Heil to whom he was married 67 years. Born at home, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Cleo and Elsie (Heffelfinger) Heil.

He retired from 3M Company in 1981. Before that, he was employed at Tidy Dydee Diaper Service. He was a member of the former Emmanuel United Church of Christ, Allentown and a member of the former Salem United Church of Christ, Allentown where he had served on consistory and was property committee chairman.

An avid ballroom dancer, he was a member and past president of the USA Dance Club and the Cotillion Dance Club. He was an active 25-year lifetime volunteer member of the Lehigh Valley Hospital Auxiliary.

He is survived by sons, Jeffrey S. and his wife, Kathy, of Lancaster, Brian C. and his wife, Annmarie, of San Francisco, Calif.; sister, Elaine Apple, of Whitehall; grandchildren, Kristin Grover and her husband, Cory, of Orefield, Benjamin Heil and his wife, Marissa, of Orlando, Fla., Amanda Kremser and her husband, Matt, of Kelowana, British Columbia; great grandchildren, Kaleb, Gavin, Isabella, Charles.

He was predeceased by siblings, Dolores Albert, Robert, Erma Grim.
