Robert J. Sinkovits, 84, of Whitehall, died Feb. 20, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of Ann (Scheffler) Sinkovits for 63 years.

Born in Coplay, he was the son of Frank Sr. and Mary (Gabriel) Sinkovits.

He worked for what was known as Western Electric as a layout operator, before retiring after 42 years from what later became Agere Systems.

He was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, Whitehall.

An avid golfer, he made a hole-in-one and managed to “shoot his age.”

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Robert and wife Lali Reddy of La Jolla, Calif.; a granddaughter, Melissa and husband Joshua Ruggiero of San Diego, Calif.; a sister-in-law, Carol Scheffler of Nazareth; and man nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by four brothers, Frank, Joseph, John and William; and three sisters, Mary (Molchany), Theresa (Koren) and Anna (Spaits).
