Joyce E. Welliver, 84, of Orefield, died Feb. 26, 2026, at Phoebe Allentown Health Care Center in Allentown. She was the wife of the late Eugene C. Welliver Sr.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Lizzy Sturm and stepdaughter to the late Norman Schaffer.

She last worked as a school bus driver for Parkland Area School District for many years before retiring. Earlier, she worked as a clerk for the former F.W. Woolworth Department Store, Allentown, for 20 years until its closing.

She was a longtime member of Egypt Community Church, Whitehall.

She is survived by a son, Eugene C. Jr. and wife Billie Jo of Phippsburg, Maine; a daughter, Tina of Lewiston, Maine; a nephew, Robert with Darlene Osmun of Bethlehem; a niece, Karen Osmun of Schnecksville; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a sister, Catherine Osmun; a nephew, James Osmun; and a grandson, Jordan.
