Coplay: American Club to hold March 6 dance
American Club of Coplay, 300 Cherry St., is planning a March 6 dance night. Doors open 5 p.m. The Castaways will be entertaining 7-10 p.m.
There is a cover charge.
Food will be provided by Rachel’s Place food truck. There will be a cash bar.

St. Peter Roman Catholic Church will be holding a takeout meal featuring cheesesteaks or sausage and pepper sandwiches.
Pickup is 4-6 p.m. March 7 in the social hall. The meal includes coleslaw, chips, cookies and soda. Orders were due by Feb. 27.

Coplay Saengerbund’s heritage committee is holding its annual St. Patrick’s Day dance 2-5 p.m. March 15 at the club, 205 S. Fifth St.
The Joe Kroboth Band will be entertaining, and there will be a special guest appearance by the O’Grady Quinlan Academy of Irish Dance youth dancers.

The borough is hiring a pool manager, lifeguards and gate guards. Applications are available at the municipal office, 98 S. Fourth St.

Coplay Food Bank, located in the lower level of the municipal building, is open 8:30-10 a.m. the second Tuesday of every month.
If unable to attend the scheduled Tuesday morning time frame, call Jodi at 610-262-0928 to make other arrangements.
The food bank needs coffee, spaghetti sauce and noodles, canned pasta, rice pouches and non-sweetened dry cereals. Monetary donations are always accepted.

The Coplay aerobics classes now meet 9:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:45 a.m. Saturdays and 7 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays in the borough hall auditorium. There is a cost by donation.
