Catasauqua: Post 215 kitchen adds hours
The Catasauqua American Legion Post 215 kitchen will now be open 3-5 p.m. Sundays and 6-8 p.m. the second and fourth Friday of the month. The Post is at 330 Second St.

American Legion Post 215 will hold its next breakfast 8-11 a.m. March 8. Order all of your favorites right off the menu.

Catasauqua Area School District Board of Education will hold its next meeting 7 p.m. March 10 in the administrative office board room, 201 N. 14th St.

Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 604 Fourth St., will hold a chicken Marsala dinner March 21, with seating times 4:30 p.m., 5 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.
The menu includes chicken Marsala, rice pilaf, green beans and pudding for dessert.
Call Mary for reservations at 610-440-0475 by March 12. The cost is by donation and will benefit Clubhouse of Lehigh County, which offers individuals with mental illness opportunities to achieve their full potential.

St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 122 Union St., will be holding its annual basket social 4-7 p.m. March 27, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. March 28 and 9 a.m.-noon March 29.
There is a ticket presale special through March 8. The deal is buy five ticket sheets, get one free. Ticket sheets contain 26 chances.

Catasauqua Community Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St., will continue its half-price sale through March 21 on everything in the shop.
The shop is happy to accept donations of good, used, clean clothing, household items and toys during regular shop hours.
The shop’s hours are set for 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Proceeds from the thrift shop are returned to the community through contributions that support youth and adult programs and services.
