Salisbury Alumni Wall of Honor recipient named

The Salisbury Township School District Board of Directors held a curriculum and technology committee meeting Feb. 18 to announce this year’s Alumni Wall of Honor recipient.

Superintendent Lynne Fuini-Hetten began the meeting by announcing the 2026 Salisbury Township Alumni Wall of Honor recipient Rosie Salvaggio.

Recipients of this award must be a Salisbury graduate who has demonstrated a commitment to learning, is accomplished in their chosen field and has had a positive impact on the community through volunteerism and/or service to others.

Salvaggio was nominated by her longtime friend Lauren Wassum who said she Salvaggio has “walked many paths” as they have been friends since they were 16. She was moved to nominate her friend because she is a hard worker who started a cleaning business called Hocus Pocus Cleaning Services and has won multiple awards including being recognized as a Woman Influencer.

Salvaggio built a successful business all while earning both a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in social work. Her company employs and empowers women while prioritizing their mental health.

Salvaggio, a 2008 graduate, expressed her thanks and appreciation for being recognized and for the support of her friend Lauren and her family.
