At the Feb. 5 Lower Macungie Township Board of Commissioners meeting, Resolution 2026-03 was approved. This resolution modifies an approved plan for the Cove at Millbrook, 3109 Macungie Road. It will have 17 lots with 16 single homes and an empty lot for open space.

Due to new standards, the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System requires a series of level spreaders. This was not previously proposed. They will be located at the rear of lots, therefore, needing a waiver. This was approved.

Jim Trapp was appointed deputy emergency management coordinator as suggested by Barbara Ferri, emergency management coordinator. Trapp has been a member of the organization since 2020. Resolution 2026-04 was approved.

There were three library board appointments: Heather Shirk, George Doughty and Jason Raines who have been serving on the library board.
