Rodell E. Pratt, 71, of Canadensis, died Feb. 14, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono.

Born in Baltimore, Md., he was a son of the late Glenn Dell Pratt and Grace Elizabeth Thomas.

He graduated from Pocono Central Catholic in 1972. He attended Mansfield State University and graduated in 1976 with a major in sociology and minor in psychology.

He retired from a public service career with Lehigh County, where he worked for many years holding various department positions with human services that assisted individuals with mental health and intellectual disabilities.

He was a volunteer at an animal rescue from 2007 to 2011 and volunteered at Protecting the Innocent. He started BBPC — the Baby Bullies Puppy Calendar.

He and his brother starred on the Kinsmen basketball team, and they played on the Kinsmen baseball league.

He is survived by three sisters, Greta Sacks, Lahaina/Renee Kameha and Shelly/Rochell; a brother, Robert; numerous nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was predeceased by six brothers, Glenn, Gwendell, Raymond, Gerard, Rodney and Gabriel; and a sister, Joanne/Gladys.
