Robert J. “Bob” Zamboldi, 85, of Emmaus, died Feb. 15, 2026. He was born in Kittanning, Pa. to Rex and Florence Zamboldi. He was the husband of Marilyn for more than six decades.
He graduated from the United States Air Force Academy and later earned his MBA from Ohio State University.
He enjoyed a distinguished 33-year career as an executive at Air Products and Chemicals before retiring in 2000. His career took him and his family to Allentown, Pittsburgh, Chicago, Houston and London. He also served on the boards of Moravian College and the Allentown YMCA.
He and his wife spent many winters in Naples, Fla., enjoying wonderful friends and warm weather.
An avid golfer, he celebrated two holes in one and achieved the rare accomplishment of shooting his age on numerous occasions. Beyond the course, he proudly served as club president of both Lehigh Country Club in Allentown and Kensington Country Club in Naples, Fla.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Melissa (Gordon) Young, Kathy (Steve) Heilenman, Rob (Amy); grandchildren, Casey, Jake, Ben, Abby, Mason, Kristen; siblings, Richard, of Erie, Barbara O’Neil, of Chevy Chase, Md.
Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
