Moore Township: Moore Township Board of Supervisors to meet March 3

Moore Township Board of Supervisors will next meet 6 p.m. March 3 at the municipal building, 2491 Community Drive. An agenda is available on the township website, mooretownship.org.

The township land and environmental protection board’s next meeting is set for 7 p.m. March 9 at the municipal building. The board has successfully preserved countless acres of farmland and open space within the township.

Moore Township Recreation Committee will meet 7 p.m. March 19 at the municipal building, 2491 Community Drive.

The committee is providing an opportunity to purchase a brick for the veterans memorial at the recreation center. Visit donate.brickmarkers.com/moore to donate or for information on how to order a memorial brick.

Bingo is held 7 p.m. Tuesdays in the social hall at Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Department, 2718 Mountain View Drive. Doors open 5 p.m.

There will be prizes, progressive jackpot, rob the piggy bank, wash line bingo and a lot of fun.

The Community Days committee is being absorbed into the township’s recreation committee, and additional members are needed. The recreation committee is planning this year’s Moore Township Community Days.

Moore Township Association for Families in Need meets the second Tuesday monthly at Covenant United Methodist Church, 2715 Mountain View Drive.
