Joseph S. Gnall, 73, of Whitehall, died Feb. 17, 2026. He was the husband of Mary Louise Gnall for more than 50 years.

Born in Ashland, he was a son of the late Joseph and Julia Gnall.

He was a graduate of Mahanoy City High School and continued his education at Pottsville X-Ray School.

He dedicated 43 years of service to Lehigh Valley Health Network.

In his retirement, he worked at the Whitehall Recycling Center.

He was a member of St. Elizabeth’s Athletic Association and Knights of Columbus and was a lifetime member of Fullerton Fire Company.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Joseph and wife Jennifer and Michael and wife Brittany; four grandchildren, Gabriel, Grayson and Ella Gnall and Blaine Heyer; a sister, Janet; a sister-in-law, Theresa; and nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Gregory and Michael.

There will be a calling time 5-7 p.m. Feb. 27 at the funeral home, 444 Pershing Blvd., Whitehall. There will also be a calling time 9-9:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial 10 a.m., Feb. 28 at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Ave., Whitehall.
