A late-season slide has seen the Salisbury girls basketball team lose 10 of its last 11 games, knocking them out of playoff consideration. Two of those losses came in recent games against Saucon Valley and Catasauqua.

Falcon junior Roxana Cardenas led all scorers with 16 points in a 45-34 loss at Saucon Valley recently.

Cardenas hit four three-pointers in the loss. Senior Kendra Morgan finished the game with 10 points for Salisbury.

Morgan was the only Falcons player to get into double digits against Catasauqua when she put up 14 points for Salisbury.

The Rough Riders downed the Falcons 47-30 as Salisbury had no way of stopping Hailey Jenkins, who scored a game-high 17 points for Catasauqua.

The weekend snow and ice wiped out Salisbury’s game on Monday night against Pen Argyl. The Falcons are scheduled to host Southern Lehigh Wednesday and their season finale is at Palisades on Friday.
